Perfect Imperfect Me

Perfect Imperfect Me

Formed sight unseen

But purposed to be

Perfectly formed- imperfect me

Perfectly made in His image

But imperfect, I carry some flaws

Excuse me while I learn to be patient with me

And allow Him to knock down some walls

Fearfully and wonderfully made

I am called and have in me the ability

To be perfect

As I cooperate in this dance of imperfect perfection

I’m being refined – defined

By The Perfect One

Imperfect? Yes, but still connected to the vine

Perfect Him dwells in imperfect me

My yielding to Him determines

How much of Him you’ll see

Imperfection can’t lean on its own ability

But lean on The Perfect One

In perfect Humility

Dancing together, we are in sync

By this, perfection outweighs imperfection

Even though a little imperfection might remain

Perfection makes sure it doesn’t take a prideful gain

Each new day is a blessing

A new mercy has begun

An opportunity to give my imperfections to Perfection

Knowing the battle is already won

Loving Perfection because although my imperfection, He sees

He still loves Perfect Imperfect Me
